Delete by email — works for everyone

Email admin@skubo.app from the phone number or email address registered to your Skubo account, and include your registered phone number in the message so we can verify it's you. No app needed. We process these requests within 7 days.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible once actioned. There is no grace window and no way to undo it or recover the account afterwards, so only ask when you're sure.

Delete in the app

The latest Skubo app versions include a self-serve path as it rolls out: open Skubo → Profile → Delete account → confirm. Same immediate, irreversible deletion — one step, no waiting period. If you don't see the option in your app version yet, use the email channel above.

What gets deleted

• Your account and personal identity (name and other identifying profile details).
• Your contact details (phone number and email address).
• All active login sessions and device push-notification tokens.
• Your memberships/links to every school in Skubo.

What a school keeps — anonymised

Schools rely on Skubo for their own day-to-day record-keeping, so operational records that belong to a school's own operations — attendance, activity logs, and fee ledgers — are retained by the school after your account is deleted. Your name and other identifying details are stripped from those records first: the school keeps the record, not you. These records aren't kept forever either — they follow the same automatic retention schedule (up to 90 days for most operational records, longer only for a school's own fee ledger, which clears 90 days after a bill is settled) described in our Privacy Policy; your account deletion doesn't change that schedule in either direction.

One exception. If your account is the sole active owner of a school still using Skubo, we'll ask you to transfer ownership or contact us before deleting, so the school isn't left without an admin. This is the only case in which deletion may be delayed — it protects the school's data, not yours.

Timeline

Your account, personal identity, and active sessions are removed immediately when we action your email request (within 7 days of receiving it), or the moment you confirm in-app deletion where your app version has it. Background cleanup of the remaining linked data — photos, device tokens, and other traces — completes within a few days after that.
